Emma Radovich

Research Assistant

Emma Radovich is a Research Assistant on the SAGE project, using DHS data to understand the role of the private sector in reproductive healthcare in low- and middle-income countries. She holds an MSc in Demography & Health from LSHTM with a focus on family planning.

Before joining the School, Emma designed a leadership and social change curriculum at an international women’s university in Chittagong, Bangladesh. She also spent several years coordinating fundraising and outreach campaigns for U.S.-based reproductive rights advocacy organisations.

Ludovica Ghilardi

Research Assistant

Ludovica Ghilardi has a background in the development and humanitarian sectors. She spent 7 years working in NGO technical and managerial positions up to Country Representative level in developing and post-conflict countries: Palestine, Haiti, Democratic Republic of Congo, Mali, Cape Verde, Kosovo, and Albania. She gained substantial experience in planning, conduction and monitoring and evaluating of programmes in public health, reproductive and sexual health, WASH, and protection.

After completing her MSc in Reproductive and Sexual Health Research at LSHTM, Ludovica began working as Research Assistant at the School on internal migration and access to health in Uganda and for MET on supply chains and causes of stock-outs in developing countries (a systematic review).

Dr Gaurav Sharma

Research Assistant

Dr Gaurav Sharma is a public health physician with over 10 years of clinical, programmatic and management experience in low- and middle-income countries. His areas of expertise include reproductive, maternal, newborn and child health.

Gaurav is currently a PhD candidate in Epidemiology and Population Health at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. He is supporting the MET to evaluate quality of care during labour and childbirth at tertiary public and private sector hospitals in three districts of Uttar Pradesh. Gaurav is also affiliated to the Department of Global Health and Development and the Maternal, Adolescent, Reproductive and Child Health (MARCH) Centre at the LSHTM.
