Kerry Wong, Maternal Healthcare Markets Evaluation Team

Kerry Wong is a Research Fellow in Health and Statistics. She is involved with analysis of DHS data for assessment of global maternal health. She also contributes to other analysis and writing of research outputs for MET. Kerry holds a Master’s degree in biostatistics from the University of Melbourne.

Before joining the School, she worked at the WHO and the ICEH in Brazil, where she was responsible for the analysis of DHS and MICS data to monitor progress in low- and middle-income countries towards achieving the Millennium Development Goals related to maternal and child health. Kerry is also a current student at LSHTM, working on a PhD researching spatial relation underlying poverty, health service provision and healthcare utilization in LMICs.
